Consultancy assignments can be varied but typically we are asked by clients to help them in the following areas:
Upgrades
Upgrades of a current Lotus infrastructure to a newer release or migration from, or to, another e-mail system. This may involve being part of a larger client team or taking full responsibility for the project from definition and design through to implementation and end user training. Time Technology has considerable experience in all of these areas, working with 3rd party tools as required to maximise the efficiency and minimise the cost of the process.
Healthchecks
Healthchecks on Lotus infrastructure insuring best practice on architecture and configuration as well as providing recommendations and considerations for maximising the value from the products. We carry out numerous healthchecks due to the structure of our support offering, thus giving us continual exposure to different environments.
Audits
Audits on Domino applications to establish opportunities to better leverage features within the current version or future versions. We may also be asked to produce a risk assessment of applications criticality to the business versus its quality of coding in order to make decisions about support needs and/or remedial actions.
Implementations
Implementation of new Lotus products such as Document Manager, Quickplace or Sametime. This will typically involve an initial piece of consultation to design the best approach, architecture and configuration of the product in order to meet the business objectives from the implementation. Time Technology has been working in the collaboration space for well over 10 years and, over that time, has developed extensive experience in how to maximise the end user productivity gains from Lotus technology.
